Aimee: How were you discovered?

Bas: My aunt runs a make-up school in amsterdam. She saw some potential in me and send me to Namemodels, they are my mother agent now.
Bas Rol for Versus by Versace: This was my first big job, I was a bit nerveous cause there were so many big names there.

Aimee: Let's discuss some of your most important work so far, so tell me how's the Versus campaign?

Bas: This was my first big job, I was a bit nerveous cause there were so many big names there. I was very impressed with the size of the crew. It was a ll a bit new to me still.

Aimee: How about the D Squared campaign?

Bas: This job was great! They build such a big set it looked awesome. I realy liked the shots, the only thing is that most people don't recognize me in it with the dark hair and fringe.

Aimee: And of course Kenneth Cole.

Bas: Kenneth Cole flew me in to do the regular Reaction campaign alongside some others. They were sort of testing me out to see if i was the guy who was gonna do the fragrance. Well, they flew me back in to new york to shoot it a month later! That was definitely my best job so far.
