The thing I enjoy most is taking on different characters that fulfill different art direction. I was a skydiver and a rock star for Hugo Boss, which came out really great in the final edition. Photo courtesy of Elite at modelwire.com |

Jed: What are the reactions of your family about modeling? Is this a factor that somehow influenced you over your professional choice?
Boyd: At first, my family thought it wasn't a very productive profession. But after they saw the benefits, they were happy for me. Their support has influenced me greatly.
Throughout the process of moving to NY and traveling around the world, I have learned that I am not just proving to myself that I can stand in front of a camera, but through life.
Jed: As someone who have modeled for Milan, Paris, London, Tokyo and New York, what makes these fashion cities different as far as modeling is concerned?
Boyd: I think the energy and the excitement of being shown something new makes the city.
Jed: What have been your impressions about the agencies that represented you? In particular, tell us your experiences being managed by the prestigious Elite Models?
Boyd: I respect my agency very much for the way they respect me and treat me as an individual.
By being with Elite, I have been so much more successful with my career rather than being with any other agency.
Jed: How is Nathalie Bernier as your mentor? Tell us your experiences being handled by one of the Industry's most respected and powerful agent/talent manager?
Boyd: My friend Nathalie is wonderful. She is a very strong, beautiful and independent woman. She continues to give me so much confidence. By being with Nathalie and Elite, I wouldn't be where I am today.
