MW: Some models tend to look "unique" somewhat different, not good-looking. But you are one very good-looking guy! How did you got your features? Do you look more like your Dad or do you go after your Mom?
D: When I look at pictures of my parents when they where around my age I think they looked drop dead gorgeous. They still do. (We are all blushing here! For it seems Dominic noticed our use of the term 'drop dead gorgeous'! awww :)- Karen)
MW: Do you still go to school? If you are still studying, do you find it hard to be both a student and a model at the same time?
D: I have had a very turbulent school period. Teachers where hardly able to inspire me to learn from textbooks and the challenges of life where so much more interesting.
Most of my school time was spent daydreaming.
MW: As to your modeling, how did it all began? Who discovered you?
D: I was "discovered" by a very well known Dutch transvestite Nicky Nicole. He gave me a card for my mother agency and told me to give them a call.
I did, after 3 months. I had the wrong idea about modeling at first, which kept me from going to the agency. After much convincing from loved ones I decided to give it a try and a week later I was shooting in Paris.
MW: What would be your very first modeling job? Could you tell us your first impressions of modeling and of being a male model?
D: The first job I did was one week after I joined my agency. It was a photoshoots with Ellen von Unwerth for V-magazine. I remember I was nervous as hell but everyone did their best to make me as comfortable as possible. It all felt like a dream at first.
The stylists standing around you, touching up between the clicks of the camera. Music playing in the background to set the mood. To be honest I just felt happy.
MW: What have been your impressions about the agencies that represented you? In particular, tell us your experiences being managed by Skin?
D: Skin agency is my second home. Samuel is my second father and the other bookers are like wise brothers and sisters.
I truly felt at home from the first minute I walked in there. I don't think many agencies put so much personal attention into their models. But skin, growing as she is, is still able to bond with their models.
