NOW THEY RULE! Currently lording it over in the male modeling arena are French megamodel Sebastien and Belgian Michael Gandolfi. (See our "initial Look" at Michael in the hotlist!)

Aside from being one of the most sought-after model on the runways, Sebastien has taken in a couple of fab modeling projects including the "naked" Versace ads, one of the latest Emporio Armani campaign, to name a few. Gandolfi got Tommy, Miu Miu, Fendi & Strenesse and a slew of mag shoots.

_Capturing the much-coveted Dior campaign is Brit David Lindwall.

MANY FIRSTS: The agency has established many firsts in the field of model management: Aside from the history that spans almost all fashion spectrum, Ford has established some firsts in its existence, to date:

1. First Big Model Contract- Long before we heard of "astronomical sums" models are being paid for, Jerry Ford negotiated the industry's first big-money contract which was for Lauren Hutton in 1974.

2. First to plan for the models' comprehensive benefits- Ford was the first, and remains one of the few, to pay models at the end of every week rather than waiting for client payments, helping the models to get established.

3. First Model Competition- The annual international Ford Supermodel of the World contest is in its 20th year, and will be touring 10 U.S. cities to find it's next rising star.

Young and daring, a couple of British teens are also doing their share of wonder- Francis Gomer, David Lindwall. Both these "kids" have some prestigious stints up their sleeves, including some cool editorials as well. Another Ryan, this time from San Francisco, named Pilstl is once again making sure that "Ryan" remains one of the most recognized name in the world of fashion....(Curry...Burns....now Pilstl...)

Not to be forgotten: The mysterious Carthwright Lee (Arena Homme Plus, John Varvatos and H&M), Up and coming models Brad Koenig (L'uomo Vogue) and English heartthrob Andy Young (recently seen in Prada and Nokia) .

In retrospect, how can a big agency, with a huge Men's Division maintain such an impressive line up of male models? What makes these models stick with Ford? What seems to be something about the agency that gives it the edge?

UP NEXT! Anatomy of a Booker, this time the guys at Ford's Men's Division answers our questions... stay tuned!
