VNY Models is considered new to the NYC modeling game but has already been gaining a reputation as a force to reckon with. Described as a “small boutique agency with a big heart”,
the agency
is already representing more than 50 models.
The roster includes some of today’s rising stars headed by New Zealander Nick Bryant. The agency’s top discovery already had Ralph Lauren and John Varvatos on his sleeve and is raring for more. Another top discovery, this time from
Canada, is Scott who is fast becoming a favorite among top fashion photographers. In one of the most difficult episodes of the Big Apple’s modeling industry- where top talent managers and agents are leaving the big agencies and settling to establish their own, it seems VNY Models has led the pack and has the driving force to keep its pace and remain there for a long time.
ModelWatch is proud to launch an exclusive agency profile of VNY Models!

Jed: What drives the agency, VNY Models, to be one of the most competitive and innovative modeling agency in the Big Apple?
Lana: We are a boutique agency, which means we are small very picky and very dedicated to our models and clients. We work that much harder to get the job done.
Jed: Tell us a bit of its history, how did the agency started and who are the personalities instrumental in making it the success that is has become?
Lana: I started the agency 2 years ago with only 6 models 1 girl and 5 guys. I alone worked very hard for a long time to bring it to where it is at today.

Lana and Friends: VNY Models' Lana together with two of her close friends in the fashion industry, Richard (from the fabulous Elle Magazine) and Vito (Marek and Associates) |
Jed: To date, what would be some of the agency’s most important projects?
Lana: I would have to say booking a model on a fragrance within the first year of being open was very exciting.
